Yesterday, I ate the foam on my soy cappuccino like frosting off a cake, enjoying every thick spoonful of foamy sweetness and licking the spoon like chocolate chip cookie batter. Apparently the Irish don't really drink coffee and I had been longing for a good cappuccino for two weeks on my travels.
Today is the 4th of July and I'm so looking forward to being with my newlywed friends and adopted family Robin and Ray, eating sliders, and watching the fireworks on Lake Union tonight!
My journey to Ireland was inspiring and fulfilling in unexpected ways. I'll be sharing and writing lots about my adventures now that I'm back in the land of high speed internet.
For now, I will briefly share my insights surrounding my adventure through Ireland and personal journey that unfolded. My trip was a completion and a celebration of sorts.
In reflection of my life I saw and began to feel at a visceral level that playing small, battling with depression, living in struggle, and otherwise not fulfilling your purpose here on earth, and living the life you were born to live, is not only a disservice to your own life, but it is a disservice to the entire world.
That it serves NO purpose at all, to not be doing what you love, and to not be doing what you were born into this world to do.
During my journey, I found a deeper level of awareness about why we are all here and why it is so important to become fully realized at this time and to become the person that you were born to be. You did not come here to live a lesser life, you came here to be the brilliant unique radiant being, that you and you alone, have the capacity to be, and this is not only in service to your own happiness but in service to the entire world.
Live your darm purpose already. You'll be happy you did and the world will be better for it.
Some silly vids as I traveled through Ireland.... IN-JOY!
