One would say she is a woman who wears a gown of winter frost that blinds the eyes.

Last year, I took to nordic skiing again, at White Grass Cross Country Ski Touring Center. This has proven to be the most wonderful thing for my health, physical and mental well-being, as well as my emotional and spiritual communion with Mother Earth in winter.

It is growing cold. Winter is putting footsteps in the meadow. What whiteness boasts that sun that comes into this wood!

One would say milk-colored maidens are dancing on the petals of orchids.

How coldly burns our sun! One would say its rays of light are shards of snow, one imagines the sun lives upon a snow crested peak on this day.

One would say she is a woman who wears a gown of winter frost that blinds the eyes.

Spending lots of time in the snowy wilderness in winter rejuvenates my spirit and inspires my soul.

7 of my good friends had babies, only months apart from each other, this was the 1st one's 1st Birthday party, where Auntie Chloë meets them all.

Continued winter wilderness exploration soothes my soul.

The only thing we should scream into the world is love.

March

Under the giving snow blossoms a daring spring.

Awake, thou wintry earth -
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!

If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.

The naked earth is warm with Spring.

The coming of spring each year serves as a reminder, that I am grateful for my life and my limbs. (April 17th is the anniversary of my near fatal motorcycle crash.)

June

If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance.

I walk without flinching through the burning cathedral of the summer. My bank of wild grass is majestic and full of music.
It is a fire that solitude presses against my lips.

When it is over, I don’t want to wonder if I have made of my life something particular, and real. I don’t want to find myself sighing and frightened, or full of argument. I don’t want to end up simply having visited this world.

Life has meaning only if you do what is meaningful to you.

I will not see this year again...

Thank you my Fate, how beautiful my life.

In reflection of 2015, I created this collage of the last 12 months in 142 pictures..... what was reflected back to me was joyfully authentic living in alignment with what I believe is important.

Experience Art
Communion with Nature
Communication with Spirit
Cherish Friends & Family

These four pillars of my life were reflected back to me again and again as I went through the thousands of pictures from 2015, each month I attempted to choose my most meaningful imagery... please IN-joy and share with anyone who might be inspired!

What does your world reflect back to you? Feel free to email me a picture that is meaningful to you!
