Santa Claus, The Magic Mushroom, & the Shamanic Origins of Christmas
Have you ever wondered why Santa Claus wears a red and white suit? Why we wrap our presents in red and white wrapping paper, or why we hang red and white baubles on our tree? The image of Santa Claus, and our Christmas traditions have been around for hundreds if not thousands of years, and can be traced right back to pre-Christian times, with roots deep in shamanism, and Nordic mythology.
We are here to learn something about ourselves as spiritual beings having a human experience. No longer is the old way of doing things a guarantee for success or happiness. It is essential to have a solid sense of yourself through your own inner knowing in order to experience true fulfillment.
The Explore Deeply Movement was established in 2010, for those of us who feel a call to something greater than our current experiences, though we may not know why. Chloë Rain is the Founder of Explore Deeply. Through her work she hopes to inspire more people to listen to their soul’s calling, and cause them to look a little closer at themselves, at the natural environment that surrounds them, and at other people and our beliefs of separation, race, culture, and religion.
