Spiritual Direction Rooted in Living Earth Traditions

Chloë Rain is a spiritual director and ceremonial guide whose work is grounded in long-term apprenticeship within living earth traditions.

For more than fifteen years, she has trained within two traditional medicine lineages rooted in North and South America, engaging in disciplined practice and sustained mentorship.

Her approach bridges ancestral wisdom and contemporary life, offering grounded containers for individuals navigating profound transitions, leadership thresholds, and spiritual maturation.

A Life Reoriented

Before stepping fully into this work, Chloë spent nearly fifteen years in the corporate world. From the outside, her life appeared stable and successful. Internally, something essential was misaligned.

A period of personal upheaval and significant health challenges forced a reckoning with the life she had constructed. Rather than rebuilding what had fractured, she chose to reorient her life entirely.

What began as a search for healing became a long apprenticeship in spiritual direction, ceremonial practice, and earth-based frameworks for emotional and psychological integration.

The Long Path of Initiation

Her path led her across sacred landscapes — the high Andes, the Amazon, ancient stone circles of Western Europe — and eventually to the Arctic Circle of Northern Norway.

While living above the Arctic Circle for four years, she completed a Master of Philosophy in Indigenous Studies at The Arctic University of Norway.

Her graduate research, The Concept of Sacred in Sápmi, examined how relationships to land and sacred worldview continue to shape Sámi cultural identity today.

Living above the Arctic Circle formed a deep understanding of cyclical time, humility, and the responsibility required to carry traditional knowledge with integrity.

From the Arctic Mountains to the Aegean Sea

Chloë’s life has unfolded between striking landscapes — from the Arctic mountains to the islands of the Cyclades in the heart of the Aegean Sea.

She now lives on the island of Tinos in Greece, where wind, and sea shape the current season of her work.

If the North shaped endurance and perspective, the Aegean has refined her work into integration — quieter, distilled, and deeply intentional.

From this island ground, she offers spiritual direction, immersive retreats, and long-term mentorship for those navigating meaningful thresholds.

Her Work Today

Chloë works with those standing at thresholds — endings, transitions, spiritual maturation, or the quiet but undeniable sense that life is asking for deeper alignment.

She does not offer quick transformation or spiritual performance. Instead, she holds grounded containers where shadow can be integrated, cycles consciously completed, and new chapters entered with clarity and responsibility.

Her work bridges ancestral wisdom with contemporary life through spiritual direction, ceremonial mentorship, and immersive retreat experiences.

Writing

Alongside her mentorship and retreat work, Chloë is completing a spiritual memoir exploring the tension between the life we imagine for ourselves and the life that ultimately claims us.

Her writing reflects the same grounded inquiry that informs her spiritual direction.

Academic Foundation

Chloë holds a Master of Philosophy in Indigenous Studies from The Arctic University of Norway.

Her research on sacred worldview in Sápmi continues to inform the philosophical and ethical depth of her work.
