Private Online Spiritual Direction

A Five-Month Apprenticeship in Threshold Work

Wisdom of the Four Directions

Something brought
you here today…

Not out of curiosity, but because something in your life no longer fits in the way it once did.

You may not have language for it yet.
But you can feel it.

A relationship no longer holds in the same way.
The work you have been doing begins to feel misaligned.
An identity you have lived inside starts to loosen.

Nothing has fully fallen apart.
But something is no longer intact.

There is a quiet sense that a phase of your life has ended—even if the next one has not yet taken form.

These are not detours.
They are thresholds.

This five-month private mentorship is for those who find themselves in such a moment—and who are willing to meet it with seriousness, attention, and care.

Our work is guided by the framework of the Four Directions — a map for understanding cycles of emergence, growth, maturity, and renewal within a human life.

The Wisdom of the Four Directions

The Four Directions offer a way of understanding where you are within a living cycle of change.

Not as an abstract framework, but as a way of recognizing why certain periods of your life feel clear, while others feel uncertain, disorienting, or inward.

They provide an orientation.

They offer a spherical map rather than a linear path — acknowledging that life unfolds through cycles, descent and ascent, contraction and expansion, death and renewal.

Within this container, the Four Directions become an internal compass.

They offer a way of walking in the world.
A way of locating yourself when something ends.
A way of recognizing when something is forming.
A way of understanding why certain seasons demand discipline while others demand surrender.

Over five months, we do not study the Directions as ideas. We use them to read your life as it is actually unfolding—and to support you in moving through it with greater clarity and coherence.

Who this Work is For

This container is for individuals who find themselves in a period of real transition—not as an idea, but as a lived experience.

You may recognize yourself here:

  • You sense that something in your life has ended, but you do not yet know what comes next

  • You have already done a significant amount of inner or therapeutic work, but something deeper is now being asked of you

  • You are no longer looking for insight alone—you are trying to live differently

  • You feel the pull toward something more aligned, but cannot yet fully see its form

  • You are willing to examine long-standing patterns, roles, and inherited ways of being

  • You value depth, steadiness, and integration over intensity or quick change

This work is not about adding something new.

It is about meeting a transition that is already underway.

This container is not suited for:

  • casual curiosity or exploratory interest

  • those seeking rapid transformation or immediate resolution

  • individuals unwilling to engage with the emotional and psychological depth of their experience

Apprenticeship requires commitment, honesty, and emotional maturity.

The Four Directions can be understood more concretely through the qualities each phase holds.

East

Emergence

Spring | Air | Insight | Clarity

A new perception begins to form.
You sense that something in your life has completed, even if the next form has not yet arrived.
Awareness sharpens. Sensitivity increases. You begin turning toward what is emerging.

Sunset or sunrise scene through tall dried grass.

South

Discipline & Growth

Summer | Fire | Courage | Vitality

You begin to engage what has opened.

This is where movement is required. Where attention, consistency, and discipline begin to shape what is forming.

You may encounter resistance—internally or externally—as you move beyond familiar ways of being.

Capacity grows here.

West

Knowledge & Maturity

Autumn | Earth | Harvest | Depth

Layers fall away.
Certainties loosen. You are invited inward.
This phase reshapes you at depth, revealing what is essential.

It is here that deeper understanding forms—
not as insight, but as lived knowledge.

Snow-covered tree branches against a clear blue sky.

North

Integration & Wisdom

Winter | Water | Stillness | Mystery

Experience settles into coherence.
You move with discernment rather than urgency.
Authority becomes internal rather than external.

A quiet sense of orientation begins to emerge, arising from within.

And from here, the cycle turns again—
with greater depth.

Over five months, we move intentionally through these phases — not as rigid steps, but as living rhythms that mirror the natural cycles of a human life.

The Nature of Initiatory Work

Initiatory cycles often arrive through:

Loss
Illness
Vocational change
Relationship endings
Spiritual awakening
Unexpected life disruption

Most people experience these as chaos.

Within a contained structure, they can become coherent.

The aim of this apprenticeship is not to bypass difficulty, but to help you move through it with steadiness, discernment, and self-trust.

Transformation is not dramatic.
It is developmental.

Investment

€6000 EUR for the five-month mentorship.
Payment plans are available upon request.

Because of the depth of this work, positions are limited and offered by application.

If you are here, it is likely that something in your life is already asking to be met.

This work offers a structured and steady way of engaging that process—with depth, clarity, and support over time.

Over the course of the apprenticeship, you begin to learn a different way of being in your life—and a different way of walking through it, with an internal sense of orientation.

You do not need certainty before beginning.

Only a willingness to be present to what is already underway.

If this resonates, you are invited to submit an application for the upcoming Wisdom of the Four Directions Apprenticeship.

About Chloë

Chloë’s work is shaped by over fifteen years of direct engagement with initiatory processes, both personally and in guiding others.

Her path has taken her through extended periods of solitude, long-term apprenticeship with Indigenous healers in Peru, and years of study within the Arctic landscape of Northern Norway, where she explored the relationship between land, perception, and human transformation.

This work has not been developed through a single system, but through sustained contact with cycles of loss, reorientation, and renewal—both in her own life and in those she has accompanied.

Her approach integrates earth-based cosmology, developmental psychology, and trauma-informed awareness into a form of spiritual direction that is grounded, precise, and attuned to the realities of lived experience.

She holds a Master’s degree in Indigenous Studies from the Arctic University of Norway and has undertaken extensive training in trauma, dissociation, and contemplative practice.

She currently lives and works in Greece, offering private mentorship and seasonal retreats.

Her work is for those who are no longer seeking guidance at the level of insight, but at the level of how a life is lived.

A message from Chloë…

As part of our human journey, we will each experience numerous challenging cycles in life. We are here to learn something about ourselves as spiritual beings having a human experience. Thus, one is always about to enter or is in the process of a transformative cycle in some area of our life as part of the path of our unique experience.

While such cycles are unavoidable and not necessarily a bad thing — the place from which you engage these cycles often determines how difficult it becomes, how long it lasts, and whether you transform the darkness of confusion and pain into the light of new potential and life.

Initiation experiences are deeply spiritual. They have been a part of the human journey for thousands of years. The initiation experience is a very specific journey meant to challenge you to discover the unknown resources of power within you. Extreme conditions are either chosen (as in going on a challenging Vision Quest), or brought upon you through unforeseen life events such as illness, accidents, death, divorce, or any other life circumstance that starts a person on this extraordinary experience. Most people do not even recognize that they having an initiatory experience, as it is a spiritual journey hidden within the pain and chaos of ordinary life.

Every journey transforms the initiate in some profound way. Each initiation has its own purpose, its own teaching, its own medicine.

Program FAQs

  • This is not a program built around a fixed method or outcome.

It is a sustained, one-on-one process of working with what is actually unfolding in your life—over time.

The depth of the work comes from the continuity of attention.

From staying with a process long enough for something real to shift—not only in understanding, but in how you relate to yourself and your life.

The Four Directions provide a framework for orientation, but the work itself is shaped by your lived experience.

  • This apprenticeship is for those who recognize that they are in a meaningful period of transition, and who are willing to engage that process with depth and consistency.

It is not defined by a particular goal, but by a readiness to meet what is already present.

  • Much of what is offered in personal development focuses on insight, perspective, or temporary relief.

This work is oriented toward something slower and more integrated.

Rather than working only at the level of understanding, we work with how experience is processed, integrated, and lived—over time.

The aim is not to resolve difficulty quickly, but to develop the capacity to move through it in a different way.

  • This is a private apprenticeship.

The work is shaped around your specific life circumstances, history, and current process—rather than a generalized structure.

There is space to move at the pace required, to remain with what is important, and to allow deeper layers to emerge over time.
